Zhanina Marinova deals with the question of imagination as materialized fiction. The artist explores the deep constellations of perception and invents her own reality, which is shaped by thoughts, feelings and memories.
For her drawings and prints she works with rolls of canvas. The colours “Coral cloud. Coral blush. Pale pink” have become a silky background for her prints.

Her works have been exhibited in institutions like MUMOK, Michaelerkirche, Künstlerhaus. Since 2018 she is a member of the Künstlerhaus Vienna.
